PRESS | La Nación | Until when can you visit: Matías Garfunkel and Victoria Vanucci’s mansion opens its doors for the last time

Saying goodbye to a building with an artistic exhibition or an installation is one of the trends that is going strong in the City, where urban changes precipitate new ways of living. This is the case of the petit hotel on Calle 11 de Septiembre 1535, in the heart of the Belgrano neighborhood. Until this Saturday night, the wrought iron doors of the mansion built in 1925 will be open as part of an interior design expo that rescues the spirit of the mansion that originally belonged to the Breyer family, owners of Breyer Casa de Pianos, an emblematic musical instrument firm that has operated since 1882 in downtown Buenos Aires.

The HabitaDA expo highlights the architecture of a Buenos Aires residence, with French style and its own history. And it does so from seven spaces set and decorated by architects, designers and interior designers who took over the mansion with immersive proposals, which combine art, textures, aromas and sounds. The living room, the reading room, the master bedroom, the children’s bedroom and the garden still retain the traces of their former owners.
