PRESS | Infobae | Federico Telerman exhibits his works at Praxis Gallery with no limit between the dreamlike and the real

The exhibition Duermevela, by Federico Telerman, is on display at the Praxis Gallery until October 16. It is an idea composed of four works, two of them large-format polyptychs, present in a room that suggests a duality of two opposite lighting states, such as day and night, cold and warm.

“Duermelavela”, as its word defines it, is that light sleep in which the person who is dozing finds himself. For this reason, Federico Telerman’s painting suggests, not forces.

The feeling of being in a known and unknown space at the same time is produced. “It is that state where the limits between the dreamlike and the real are mixed, it is a moment of vulnerability, where we are more permeable to absorb the impressions of color and movement,” indicates curator Lucía Matusevich who advises stopping and concentrating in front of the acrylics to contemplate them, “they demand getting out of ordinary time, from the rush.”
