PRESS | Arqa | Art as a manifestation of environmental devastation

The Argentine artist Romina Orazi (Trelew, 1972) presented her individual exhibition Partículas del fuego at the Praxis gallery on International Forest Day. The work manifests and explores in depth the climate crisis in which we are immersed.

“I am focused on the problems of climate change, natural disasters and their social, political and environmental consequences. I explore, from different perspectives, environmental controversies.” says Romina Orazi.

The artist reinterprets founding paintings in the history of Argentine art, incorporating her own elements to express her criticism and raise her voice. Romina uses the landscape to intervene and create her work, challenging the traditional and anthropocentric perspective.
