Design will be the star of the urban trends festival that takes over the Arenales district every year tomorrow , where launches, displays and new developments in the art and equipment sector will be on display . A mix that will transform Arenales Street and its arteries, this Thursday from 6pm to 9pm, into stage shows .
The programme for the sixth edition of the Night of Design includes interventions in more than 50 venues on the circuit. The wide range includes inaugurations, fashion shows, tastings, live music, performances and a one-on-one between the public and the creatives , who will explain the constructive solutions of their launches.
As for art exhibitions, the Praxis gallery is betting on the solo exhibition of the Chilean Josefina Concha E. , who was a hit at the last Abu Dhabi Art Fair . Excursiones nocturnas , a network of embroideries and paintings that refer to her own dreams and nightmares, “responds to the artist’s impulse to exploit her voracious relationship with painting, usually sublimated by her sculptural textiles,” announces the prologue by Matías Allende Contador. In addition, the Argentine geometric artist Alejandro Gigli presents Arquitectónica , a series of geometric works that dialogue with each other like a tangram. (Arenales 1311).
