Tell me how it feels
when your heart gets cold?

When your heart grows cold?

Love, subjectivity and the night is the magic of this exhibition of conceptual contemporary painting with dark touches, with a lot of music, with many media, film and literary references by a great artist like Dino Bruzzone whose works have transcended international biennials, even the cartographic procedures of the city. This exhibition talks about post-production, new processes to reflect on painting and how to understand new ways of loving. The sound of Blue Monday entering the Freedom nightclub is felt in the body and anything can happen, the adrenaline of the night, the music, the lights, the magic is felt in the blood. Suddenly everything is blue and we enter another dimension where the force of blood acts on the subjects and the aristocracy of desire reigns in the bodies. We are facing the government of the night where the straight has no jurisdiction, defeated capitalism suspends its surplus value and the politics of eroticism, of desire, gains autonomy. An architecture of pleasure is built in the work of Dino, a sound architect, from models of mythical fantasy places in Buenos Aires: Italpark and the cult nightclubs. Refined, conceptual artist, whose works design highly complex procedures, such as the creation of artificial realities, as perfect as those built in our societies. This sample is Blue, that Blue of the night before the light of day where everything disappears like vampires. A post-production process like the artifice of the nocturnal appears in these paintings, a singular invention of a piece of layers, layer upon layer. In dialogue with conceptualists such as Gerhard Richter, Sigmar Polke and Neo Rauch, Roy Lichtenstein and Anselm Kieffer among others, his painting comes from a deconstruction and reconstruction. An order re-designed by the point, the pixel, a strategy pointillist extreme by a Mac, a plot where point, color and light are transformed into three-dimensionality. Dot, pixel, contemporary painting in times of networks and apps where the world is disseminated by screens. This is how his paintings are created in this electronic alchemy, like the mixer of a cult DJ creates the atmosphere of these paintings on his tray Technics Susy secrets of the heart, Secret Hearts, Girl’s Romances, Falling in Love, among other romantic comics from the beginning of The ’60s, black line as in Charles Burns and Crumb, are some of the layers that fly over his works. The story of these magical paintings embody love, that special one, the infinite, the one that is born with the moon and the stars, like the lyrics of New Order and Joy Division, an electronic romanticism, an aristocracy of Desire, that extreme passion that drags us through the streets at dawn, that intensity that only hugs calm, that adrenaline that only the body and the heart satisfy. They are blue, they are golden, they are virile and protective, beauty and tears in the style of Wong Kar Wai and Elia Kazan – Alfred Hitchcock, Giorgio Armani and Hugo Boss, Dior and Tiffanys. All the passions under the stars, the moonlight made into paint and in the most beautiful painting of all, both looking at the horizon embraced and for that always eternal moment, love is indestructible.
