I tell you: I am trying to capture the fourth dimension of the instant-now, which, being so fugitive, no longer exists because it has become a new instant-since it now does not exist either.
Clarice Lispector
My images speak of another time, of a slow rhythm, of the moment that slips through the fingers, of lingering in the most intimate and fragile. It is the time of silent and nostalgic ritual, where you can see the beauty of latent calm, where the light you see does not blind you.
The rawness of the direct shot and the capture of the moment are essential conditions when composing my images.
The mere presence of natural light when taking my photos, the non-use of editing after development and my great interest in the fusion between photography and other visual arts are part of this journey to intuition, where the dreamlike and the poetic play a role. transcendent role.
In this visual story I try to reflect nostalgia, the minimal trace, the insinuation, the impermanence, the memories that fade like small blurry fragments that allow emotions to be evoked. I work with empty and veiled space, revealing a blurred reality that invites contemplation and reflection.
The power of images comes from what is not seen.
With a luminous and melancholic look, I am interested in exploring the poetics of everyday life. For me, the camera is a magnifying glass that allows me to enlarge gestures of intimate life and life in nature.
I seek to feel the silence that reveals a world. May images be an antidote to the relentless speed of contemporary life.
