Estefania Vélez, for this painting exhibition, draws on architectural elements such as frames, windows, tiles, stone floors, and stairs to create imaginary landscapes that resemble hieroglyphics.
Vélez developed this new body of work in Mexico during the pandemic, subtly referencing life through the flatness of screens, engaging in a play of colors that appears endless.
