Martín Bonadeo

Martín Bonadeo was born in Buenos Aires, in 1975. He is an artist developing projects in the limit between art, science and symbolic knowledge. Most of his works are site specific and he uses various types of expressive sensory technologies. He was the recipient of the Alois Hass Grant during 2019 for investigatin at Universitat Pompeu Fabra . He is trained as an art director (1995), he holds a BA in advertising (1998), he is a Ph.D. (Magna Cum Laude) in olfactory communication (2003) and he did his post-doc in art-science-technology links at the University of California at Los Angeles (2004). His solo shows include Pacha Kutiq Wanka at the National Museum of Chavín (Huari, 2018) and Bellico at Espacio Fundación Telefónica of Buenos Aires (Argentina, 2012). He participated in numerous urban interventions, such as Ensayos para una Cruz del Sur en el Norte at Piazza San Marco (Venice, 2022) and Ensayos para vivir en paz (Buenos Aires, 2021). He currently lives in Barcelona.
