Delfina Muniz Barreto is an Argentine artist and architect with a deep interest in nature and its forms, staying connected with subtle memories of her childhood, where she spent most of her time in southern Brazil.
Her latest project, created in collaboration with artists Delfina Braun and Edo Costantini, consists of a bronze sculpture sound installation. A related work was exhibited as part of Jean Cocteau’s major retrospective in Brazil at MAC Niterói.
She has exhibited at Miranda Bosch Gallery during ArteBA 2024 and at PRAXIS New York.
After graduating as an architect from the University of Buenos Aires, she continued studying photography, art history, and painting. As a designer, she works with a sustainable ethic, noble materials, and local resources.
In 2013, she founded Studio MBP with Josefina Pepa. Since then, she has developed a variety of projects, ranging from interior and product design to large-scale residences. And in 2011 she co-founded KABINETT, a contemporary art and design venue, where various Latin American contemporary artists were featured.
