Praxis is the gallery that brings together, exhibits, and attracts Latin artists to the epicenter of culture and art. From Argentina to the United States, Praxis arrived in New York in 1987 with the goal of giving global visibility to Latin art.
Since then, it has become one of the main platforms for Latin artists seeking to exhibit their work around the world. 35 years later, the gallery is recognized for its commitment to promoting Latin culture through art and its support of emerging and established artists.
On this occasion, Praxis brought textile art to the epicenter of art and culture. On Thursday, April 13, the exhibition of Josefina Concha E., the Chilean artist who stands out for her laborious work with textiles, took place. Being a master in the field, Josefina rescues centuries of Latin American heritage through a communion with craftsmanship and nature. Her work stands out for its ability to fuse elements of Latin culture with traditional and contemporary weaving techniques.
